In October of 2017, I moved to Bangkok, Thailand - a vibrant and bustling city that is painted with history and culture, steamrolling its way into the future. With its gracious people, their warm hospitality and graceful demeanour, it's easy to see why Thailand truly is the Land of Smiles.
There is so much to love about Thailand - white sand beaches, glorious sunsets, an abundance of national parks! But ask around and what tops the list for most (myself included) is its food. For those wanting to master the art of Thai cuisine, there are endless options available in the city but if you have a day to spare, I recommend taking a trip across the river to the Sampran Riverside Thai Cooking Class!
The day-trip includes a stroll through the Sampran Riverside Organic Farm where you will learn of vegetables and herbs commonly used in Thai cuisine and also pick your very own ingredients to use later during the day in class!
The class takes you through the basics: Som Tam and Pad Thai followed by a delicious lunch cooked by the professionals.
Best of all, vegetarian options are available!
