Cycling through Siem Reap, Cambodia

Siem Reap is the gateway to the Angkor Kingdom and for the lovers of history and culture - one of the most breathtaking destinations on the planet!

Rich with history, Angkor truly is an archeological marvel! If walls could speak, those of the Angkor Wat would burst with melodies, recounting the days of its glorious past.

I arrived to Siem Reap late on a Friday evening and had a pre-scheduled cycle tour booked for Saturday morning with Grosshopper Adventures - I am convinced that this is by-far the best way to experience Siem Reap!

The tour begins with a quick stop to purchase your The Angkor Pass before its grand start with breakfast at sunrise at the Angkor Wat - a sight so spectacular that I thought there was no way that the tour could top it - I was wrong!

Riding through hidden trails, the tour includes stops at the Bayon, Angkor Thom and saves the best for last - Ta Prohm (famous for being featured in the Tomb Raider).
